Basically, on some windows versions, it tries to install/use the wrong driver for the device and you have to manually select the right one in your device manager.Ĭonnect your phone and change the connection to 'transfer data' mode / MTP. It works on other computers though, only my (main) desktop PC had problems. (PTP option worked to transfer pictures at least) I struggled for 2+ months now, having the MPA mode of my device not recognized, only showing the drivers as a CD drive.
